Our latest project car comes in the form of another Honda, but this time it's something newer than what we're used to; a Civic Type R FK2.

It's a 2015 GT model with 60k miles on the clock which is backed up with full Honda service history. It's in stock form aside from a Milltek cat-back exhaust and a set of PBS ProRace brake pads

My initial thoughts are that the FK2 definitely lives up to the hype and ratings it has. The switch from the screaming N/A VTEC K20A to the more subtle turbocharged K20C1 takes some getting used to, but the extra 110bhp helps to remind you why Honda went down the turbo route!

The sharp steering and driving position resembles its predecessor, the FN2, but the handling overall is on another level - despite Honda sticking with the rear beam instead of reverting to independent suspension.

I'll be using her daily so won't be going too crazy with the mods, but a range of modifications and upgrades are definitely in order.
